Rajo Town
Rajo Town is located on the top of a hill of about  585 meters of height . The town is steepy to the west towards the plain of ( Balia ). The town is 25 kilometers to the north western of Afrin city . It has got a population of about  70552 people . All people work in agriculture especially olives and grains . There are shops and workshops for carpentry and smithiness .There is also a weekly market on Saturday . It also has a railway which is crossing Rajo to Midan Akbas as well as a train station .
Rajo is one of the ancient towns in Afrin City and it is with an area of about 352,35 square kilometers . It has now 45 villages and 20 farms . Its borders are: The Turkish borders at the west and north , Bulbol Town at the east and sheik Al- Hadeed and Maabatli at the south .
Rajo Town has got : 45 villages and 20 farms . 53 elementary schools , 6 preparatory and 1 secondary school up till 2005 .
The number of male students is 1500 and female students is 2500 up till 2005
The number of educated people is 8%  .
The number of olive trees is 150,000 up till 2005 .
The number of fruit trees is 5000 up till 2005 .
The number of sheep and goats is 7000 up till 2005 .
The number of cows is 350 up till 2005 .
The number of the modern olive oil squeezes is  25 up till 2005 .
